(Mom's turn)
We spent Labor Day weekend at the cabin with James' family. Thanks to the very nice weather, we were able to spend every day outside, riding horses (not me!), four-wheeling, playing, hiking, visiting and just enjoying each other's company.

Life does go on...this much we have learned from what we have been through in the past 37 months. Does this mean that our pain has somewhat lessened? That are hearts are healing day by day? No, it means that we are doing the best we can with what we have in this moment, and sometimes you have to do what's best for you and your life, not what's best for everybody else. We miss Vittoria more each day if possible, but life DOES go on, the world still turns even when we would like for it to stop and acknowledge our heartache. Faith is what keeps us going, knowing we'll be together forever with our sweet Vittoria.
