Since we were going to spend Christmas in Italy this year, Jacomo got to open his Christmas present from James' parents, and oh boy, was it ever a big gift! Jacomo went nuts (and James too!) when he saw it and every single night after that he asked to have it in bed with him! James and Jacomo spent many hours playing, lifting, driving it and if Jacomo could have put it in the suitcase to take with us, he would have, trust me!
Visto che quest'annno saremo in Italia per Natale, Jacomo ha potuto aprire il regalo di Natale da parte dei miei suoceri con molto anticipo. Jacomo appena l'ha visto e` impazzito (e pure James!), e infatti ogni sera fino alla nostra partenza, ha chiesto di poterci dormire! Padre e figlio hanno trascorso tantissimo tempo insieme a giocare, sollevare, guidare questa gru e se Jacomo avesse potuto, l'avrebbe messa nella valigia da portare via con noi.

Before leaving Price, I went to the cemetery to bring Vittoria's Christmas wreath and I was pleasantly surprised to find a decoration from cousin Gary and another Christmas wreath from Aunt Laurel, that Vittoria and Uncle Ralph "share".
That little bit of snow and the frozen ground made it impossible to stick anything else in the ground, but it was ok...
Prima di lasciare Price, sono passata al cimitero a portare la ghirlanda natalizia a Vittoria e con sorpresa ho trovato che un'altra decorazione che il cugino Gary aveva fatto per Vittoria, in piu` gia`c'era un'altra ghirlanda portata dalla zia Laurel che Vittoria e zio Ralph "condividono". Quel po` di neve per terra e le temperature sotto zero hanno reso impossibile piantare altre decorazioni, ma tutto sommato andava bene anche cosi`......
I took this picture in the canyon,on the way home from Price! I think it's absolutely stunning in the winter, it looks almost enchanted, and honestly made me think of our Vittoria.
We love you and miss you very very much!!!
Ho scattato questa foto nel canyon tornando a casa da Price. Penso che questa cascata ghiacciata sia qualcosa di assolutamente meraviglioso, ha quasi un tocco di magico, incantato, e onestamente mi ha fatto pensare alla nostra Vittoria.
Ti vogliamo bene e ci manchi tantissimo, tesoro!!
...I went home and got her Christmas tree out and decorated the house a little bit, more for Jacomo than anything else.
...perche` sono arrivata a casa nostra e ho tirato fuori l'alberello di Natale di Vittoria e con Jacomo abbiamo decorato un po` la casa, piu` per lui che altro.
At the beginning of December, Jacomo and I left to go to Italy for Christmas.
