Things are quiet here for the most part. After the busy long day yesterday, this is a welcome change. It is a good day to rest and try to relax and the weather sets the mood to do just that; cold and rainy.
Vittoria is hanging in there. She is still bleeding more than we would like to see but they are changing some things to try and help with that. She is transitioning to oral meds. It will be nice to get things going in a little more naturally. She is getting most of her intake orally now. That is a good thing. She is more awake and gets frustrated more easily. They have had to sedate her more through the night because she is tired of just laying there.
We are grateful for the fundraisers going on today. We hope that the weather cooperates a little more as the day progresses. Let's pray that a heart comes soon!

To Vittoria and her family,
ReplyDeleteI had a friend on FB post about the fundraisers this weekend and that is how I came across your blog. I have been reading it and just heartbroken. You all seem at such peace and understanding with what is happening though, which is more than what I can say for myself. Thank you for sharing your story. I plan on going up to the yard sale this morning. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Angie
You have an amazing little girl and so many people who's heat has been opened up by her story. I was at the yardsale this morning and was amazed at the turnout from NAPA and all the friend and families in the community. My husband and my daughter and my self went back many time for things for our famlies, friends and co-workers. Anyone we could of had be there, was there. I wish we could of done more. My son interns at KSL and we are going to see if we can get Vittora's story on the news to help bring in more donations. It's not for sure but we are working on it. Our prayers go out to Vittoria and her family.
